about suzanna

Denver estate planning attorney, Suzie Tiftickjian, was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, Indiana. Suzie practices in the fields of estate planning and administration. Licensed in 1999, Suzie brings over 20 years of experience to her law practice. Suzie spent the first ten years of her career practicing litigation with large Denver firms, so she brings a unique risk management perspective to her transactional work. Suzie’s litigation practice included defending builders and design professionals in construction defect lawsuits, and attorneys in legal malpractice cases. Because of this experience, Suzie is especially qualified to plan for clients in construction and professional services because of her familiarity with their industries.

Suzie first became interested in estate planning and administration at age 22 when her own mother died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. Suzie served as executor for her mother’s modest estate during her first year of law school. This experience drove an interest in personal finance and tax law. As a result of this experience, Suzie brings a unique sensitivity to counseling clients through the estate administration process because she knows first-hand how emotional it can be. Selling the family home, holding an estate sale, and learning to responsibly invest an inheritance, for example, are major milestones in life.

Suzie performs estate planning for both middle class and high net worth clients, and is practical in her approach to counseling and drafting for clients.

Suzie is an active member of the Women’s and Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Councils, as well as the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. Suzie is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest peer rating standard, given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.
